Hey Team Awesome!!

Couple of announcements.... (que music!)
1) Mountain Hardwear has sponsored our team!! The shirts are at the printer getting the cool awesome LETS SF Marathon logo emblazoned on them. You can pick your shirt up Saturday at the Expo. We'll have a one hour window and we'd like everyone to arrive during that time so we can take a group pic. Mountain Hardwear would like to use that pic for their site and marketing material. Sweeeeeet!!
2) We've had some requests to get together for a gut-busting carbo loading dinner the Friday evening before the race. Please RSVP ASAP so we can determine how many will be attending. My email: phil@lets.org I'll get you the venue by the middle of next week. It'll be in SF not far from the Embarcadero.
3) We're also planning on a after party lunch around 1:30pm on Sunday after the "fun". RSVP as well if you're interested in attending.
3) My last email sparked a heated debate on weather the Lucky Charms marshmallows were truly the secret to endurance running recovery. The debate is over: my team one. Just cuz.

Be AWESOME!

Hey LETS Run Team!!!
If you're like me these days, you're sitting at your desk with ice strapped to your knees, and a double espresso in hand to ensure your head doesn't suddenly slam down on your desk due to nonstop fatigue from all this ridiculous marathon training regimen stuff. During these fun times, I've discovered that high doses of Lucky Charms marshmallow bits (forget the cereal it's tasteless and has zero nutritional value) are the best post-training body replenishing food source. Better than trendy Pinole without the cinnamon tongue side effects. All seriousness aside, I'm truly stoked to meet each of you at the Expo, Saturday July 28th, the day before the race. We will meet you sometime between 12pm-3pm. At this moment we don't have the exact time, so I'll get that to you later this week. In the meantime keep fundraising and if you have a little extra time to train, then fine do that as well.
Be awesome,

Stuff About Me:

Hello!

My name is Sandhya and I am a marketing analyst working in the bay area.

I am running the SF half marathon on July 29, 2012 in support of a cool nonprofit called Let's Erase the Stigma Educational Foundation (LETS).  LETS is dedicated to erasing the stigma of mental illness by funding and developing educational programs, mentoring opportunities, and research possibilities designed to empower youth to change the perception of mental illness.

I believe organizations such as LETS can really make a difference in the lives of young adults.  Please join me by pledging your support to LETS.

Thank you.
