San Francisco Tourism To Go Mobile
Organized by: Nazar Kamangar
California visitor information centers are having challenges. Many of them are running with a a couple of resources. A few centers closed down in the past few years due to lack of funding and support.
There are plenty of brochures for restaurants, attractions and entertainment available on the rack at the visitor centers and visitors are going out frustrated with a bag of brochures and a lot of time that they wasted finding what they were looking for. There are digital touch-screen kiosks that people could get the information that they need by a couple of minutes search and mobile app to develop to bring centralized information for where to eat and shop, what to do, etc. Tourism in San Francisco needs funding, strategy and support to utlize digital and mobile solutions My goal is to create a Centralized Mobile and Digital Solution to feature restaurants, attractions, shops, and hotels on digital kiosks and mobile devices. Once we purchase the hardware, software and implement the project, small businesses can advertise their offers, specials, etc., The idea is to support California tourism to enhance profitability for small businesses, create more jobs for residents and improve profitability for struggling businesses.
