We are a Women's 8+ boat that is participating in the 2015 Santa Row to benefit the Ministry of Caring in Wilmington, DE. We are so excited to combine so many wonderful things in one day: rowing, craftiness, the holiday spirit, and supporting a great cause!
The Santa Row will be at 10am on December 5th- we would love and appreciate your support in any way you can! Donate to our fundraiser, come watch us row at the event and see our boat theme, and spread the word!
Our goal is to raise $1000 for the Ministry of Caring!
About the Santa Row: This is the fifteenth year of the Santa Row that is put on by Wilmington Rowing Center. Rowers and coxswains of all ages and backgrounds come together to decorate a boat and dress in holiday attire for a friendly competition to raise money for the nonprofit Ministry of Caring. The river and docks are bursting with cheer and holiday spirit, and it makes for a wonderful morning for spectators and rowers alike. The eight rowers in our boat would like to raise at least $1000 for the cause, while we enjoy a little competition and have fun with our boat theme.
About the Ministry of Caring: The Ministry of Caring is a local nonprofit in Wilmington, DE which operates the Emmanuel Dining Room sites providing free meals to the needy and other programs throughout the city that help the homeless, elderly and others in crisis. More information can be found at their website, http://www.ministryofcaring.org
