BENEFITING: FACES OF COURAGE FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Dec 02, 2016
15th Annual Santa's Workshop Weekend will be December 2-4, 2016 for children ages 2-12 who have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, sickle cell or hemophilia and their well siblings. This traditional overnight weekend camp allows children who are battling cancer and their siblings to be in a barrier free medically supervised environment where they get to be just regular kids for a weekend of fun, fellowship and food! At camp the kids get to canoe, kayak, fish, learn archery, tie dye shirts, create arts and crafts, dance, enjoy ice cream socials and try out drumming. We get all kinds of visitors at camp like Santa and some local celebrities and sports figures. Faces of Courage hosts camps for Adults, Minorities, Teen and Children facing this horrible disease. Since 2004 over 7,000 campers have attended outing and the weekend camps. No one has ever been charged to participate. We do this because of the amazing generosity of our caring donors. Please help us create a magical and memorable weekend for these amazing children who are facing life threatening diseases. Be one of our heroes and donate now. On behalf of our campers thank you for enriching their lives.
