I'm not really sure what to say but I'll make this short and sweet. I run for a lot of causes near to my heart from charities like Special Olympics to C-SNIP. Raising money is fun so naturally, I'm a little short on time to fundraise.
Mylee is my heart and soul; 3.5lbs of heart and soul. She has helped me accept animals regardless of their weaknesses or in her case her strengths. She was not a backyard project or a mill dog by any means but improper care and compassion has lead her down a path to not just one broken leg but two. Those have not stopped her from making an impact on those around her. She has inspired me to keep moving forward in what I don't believe is forward while keeping an enormous smile on her face. While Mylee is not the only pup in this house, her counterparts story is much more inspiring.
While looking to help a friend adopt, I stumbled across a post of a dog on a 72 hour hold to be euthanized. I had zero idea how I was going to bring this dog more than half way across the country, who was going to help me foster her and how it would all "work out" in three short stress filled days.
This dog changed everything.
She is not the most well behaved dog in town; she has her quarks. She is not the most patient but the most loving, glued-to-you, belly aching good time, dog. I'm not sure what I would do without such a needy soul bouncing throughout the halls of my home.
Please consider even a small donation towards our goal, helping other animals find their forever homes like Zarah (and Mylee, too)!!!
