Sarah Colegrove has been a swimmer for as long as she can remember. At age 6, she swam with the Grosse Pointe City Norbs and continued swimming through high school and college on the varsity swim teams at Grosse Pointe South and Kalamazoo College. In 1996, Sarah signed up for her first triathlon. She raced triathlons for a number of years (including three ironman races) and eventually became a lover of open water swimming. In 2014, Sarah fulfilled a lifelong dream by completing a 21 mile international solo swim across Lake St. Clair.
Swimming across the Straits of Mackinac is also on Sarah’s bucket list. She is looking forward to helping Habitat for Humanity raise funds, by swimming across the Straits of Mackinac with the Mighty Mac team in 2015.
Sarah is an attorney in private practice and she concentrates in probate, estates and alternative dispute resolution. Her law practice, Briggs Colegrove, P.C., is located in the First National Building in Detroit, Michigan.
