BENEFITING: International OCD Foundation
EVENT DATE: Jun 06, 2015
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for this event. Since the age of eight years old, I have suffered with OCD. It has had a profound impact on my life. However, thanks to good treatment, proper medication, and education about this disorder, I have been able to take control of it in my life. I want to help the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation to continue to help others like myself that have OCD. They provide education, treatment, research, outreach, and other help to OCD patients and their families and friends. I was fortunate enough to undergo therapy with Dr. Robin Zasio, who is the director of the Anxiety Treatment Center in Sacramento, which is the West Coast affiliate of the IOCDF. Thanks to the treatment that I underwent with Robin, in addition to proper medication from my psychiatrist, my OCD is no longer controlling my life. I want for all OCD suffers to be able to receive the same kind of help and treatment that I have gotten so that they can get their OCD under control and lead productive lives too. Please help me to raise money so that this wonderful organization will continue to be able to help OCD patients and their families. Any amount that you can donate helps, no matter how big or small. Thank you for helping me to raise money to support this cause.
