EVENT DATE: Oct 14, 2017
Sarah has just completed her second year as a VCU Ram and will be doing her internship this fall at a Day Support Center for Adults. She will be working the lunch shift assisting participants that have memory challenges enjoy their lunch. She will graduate in December and will be looking for permanent employment!!!!! We couldn't be more proud of her as she has managed to go to school, work on campus and keep up her spirits despite a slew of health issues this year. Sarah continues to be an inspiration to us as she continues to show strength and resilience when most of us would give up. Through the Down Syndrome Associations many programs she is learning how to cook independently, speak for herself, dress for success, how to be a great employee and so much more. Please help us give back to DSAGR so they can continue to make a difference for all people with Down syndrome in our community!!
