EVENT DATE: Oct 14, 2017
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Sarah's Stampede. My name is Sarah Ashley and I am 9 years old. I am told that I am super sweet and beautiful. I also happen to have an extra chromosome that makes my life a little more challenging. I don’t let that stop me from doing everything I love to do. I love to swim and play with my friends. I love to go to the movies and eat popcorn. I also love to sing and dance. I will be in the 4th grade this year at Spring Run Elementary. Reading and Art are my favorite subjects in school.
The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond (DSAGR) gives me lots of opportunities such as hanging out with friends at the local playgroups, educational conferences, a Learning Program and people who advocate for me in state and Federal legislation. DSAGR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which means it relies solely on donated funds to run its programs.
It's easy to donate - just click on the big DONATE button to make a pledge. You can also send me a check made payable to 'DSAGR'. You will be helping all my friends with Down syndrome take steps towards a brighter tomorrow! You are also welcome to join us for the Step Up for Down Syndrome annual event on October 14. Thank you in advance for your support that helps me live a life like yours!
Event Information: The Step Up for Down Syndrome 5K and Family Festival will be held Saturday, October 14th 2017 at The ACCA Shrine Center (1712 Bellevue Avenue) in Richmond.
