Sasha's teeth need your help
Organized by: Sasha Šilhavy
Two and a half years ago I started to wear braces. I was dreaming about it for my whole life, so I felt really happy and grateful. I've finally got braces! What could be better? The problem appeared later. My dentist asked me to use special brushes to clean my braces and brush my teeth with. Having braces can cause different gum diseases because it makes it hard to clean your oral cavity properly. I was only 19 back then, so I had no money to buy any special 'tools' for brushing my teeth. My parents have never supported me financially, so I had to accept that I had no money and decided to roll with it, given the fact that at least I already got braces and was really happy about it.
But then, after they removed my braces, I started to notice that my gums look different. It was a pain for me to eat, have cold or hot drinks. My gums started bleeding, turned grey-ish and purple and I could not find a reason. I went to my dentist and she said that the problem was that my teeth needed more proper brushing, she also said that the 'disease' has already started spreading all over my mouth cavity and I urgently need to stop it. Otherwise my teeth can just start to fall off.
The only way I can fix the problem is going back to the dentist and work on each and every tooth to make sure that they are fine. But it costs money, money I can never have.
I am very grateful to you in advance. Every dollar is important. Please, help me to be okay. I am really scared. Thank you berry much.
