Save Leo/ fight Parvovirus
Organized by: Manueal Gonzalez
My father Jose R, Gonzalez passed away on June 1, 2016. Leaving me parentless at the age of 28. My father and my dog Leo were the best of friends. They bonded immediately first day I brought him home as a puppy. Since I have to work a steady job 8 to 5 my dog Leo would stay at home with my dad most of the day. You see my dad was on disability and on dialysis. So my father and Leo spent quite a lot time together. Forming an unbreakable bond. Their bond became so strong that Leo favored my dad over me and Leo was my dog lol. Thursday, June 9, 2016 before I went to bed Leo got sick and vomited. I assumed It was due to him running around. Well Friday June 10, 2016 after I got home from my fathers viewing. I noticed Leo eat or drink anything all day. So I stayed up all night with him trying to get him to drink something. So in the morning June 11, 2016 I brought Leo to a vet to have him look at. They believed something was stuck in his intestines at the time. The treatment that they suggested was something I could not afford at the time. So they did what they could afford. Then sent me on my way. After my father's funeral a friend of mine Steven Herbert suggested that something was really wrong with Leo. So he offered to lend me the money to have Leo take into it but Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Center. So me and my friends got together and that's what we did. On Saturday, June 12, 2016 I got a call in the morning from the emergency center informing me that Leo tested positive for parvovirus. I'm not sure what the total cost is going to be at the end when it's all said and done. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I just want to say that Leo means more the world to me. He is the only thing that's keeping me from falling into a deep depression. I love him. I would do anything for him and and I don't know what I would do without him.
