For 15 years Liza, affectionately called, "Liza-boo," offered her unconditional love, companionship and affection. In spite of our best and futile efforts, her physical body finally succumbed to a seeming plethora of medical conditions, and Liza crossed over into Spirit on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2:43 pm.
Liza-"boo" taught those of us who knew and loved her, a great deal about living - and loving - in the moment, always from a place of gratitude and inner peace. Having originally started this fundraising campaign to raise the money needed to help offset the costs of Liza's medical care, it is now in honor of her memory and all that she lived for, that this memorial fund is established, not only to continue to offset the remaining medical bills yet to be paid, but also to expand this fund to help others who may not have the means to help their most loyal companions and loved ones when emergent medical care is required.
If you have already donated to this campaign, thank you. If you have not yet done so, please give what you can and then share this with friends, neighbors, and any and all connections on social media. Community, compassion, and love (in action) is what this campaign is all about. In this time of seemingly endless global violence, trauma and despair, you can be part of something positive; something that's all about community, compassion, and love in action, by making a donation right now, in memory of Liza-"boo" and all that she taught about unconditional love and gratitude. Thank you
