Save Mau Forest Complex and Water Towers in Kenya

Organized by: Scope Intervention

Scope's Photo

We are a Youth-Led Kenyan NGO passionate about fighting climate change and protecting our environment. Mau Forest hosts the largest water tower in Kenya supporting livelihoods of millions of people across East Africa. The water from the water tower also supports Maasai Mara National Reserve and drains its water to Lake Victoria. But due to human encroachment and destruction, the forest has been hugely degraded and rivers originating from Mau Water tower are drying up. Last year, we adopted 10 Hectares of the forest where we planted over 10,000 trees. This year, we are planning to adopt 50 Hectares and we request for your support. Thank you
