Save Sherri's heart!
Organized by: Jennifer Porter-Runge
My mom has recently spent 9 days in the hospital, trying a new heart medication that Dr's have said, saved her life....and she can't afford it. She has suffered her entire life with Muscular Dystrophy and has always remained a strong, positive woman. She was recently diagnosed with heart failure complicated by A-fib. She is only 57 years old and her quality of life has been very poor the last couple of months. After exhausting all other options, her Dr started her on a medication that is very new to the market and insurance will not cover it. The medication has made her feel like a new woman, and her and her husband live on a fixed income. If she's unable to take the medication, she'll go back into heart failure, and her life will be significantly shortened. She has spent her life worried about everyone else, now it's time for people to worry about her. She DOES NOT know I'm doing this and would be horrified if she knew....she would think that she's "asking for a hand out". Shes a truly deserving woman.....please help her in any way possible. Help save her life, please.
