For my 8th grade project at the East Bay Waldorf School, I researched elephant communication. Because I wasn't able to do anything with elephants face to face, I decided to raise money to help save the remaining elephants in the wild. In the last decade, 62% of the elephant population has been lost. Elephants could be extinct by the end of the next decade if we don't help them. The donations will go to Elephant Voices, an elephant conservation group founded by Joyce Poole (www.elephantvoices.org). Joyce Poole is a scientist who has been researching elephant communication in Africa for many years. Thank you so much for helping to save the elephants.
