Baby Xinxin has spent most of all her brief life fighting to survive. Since she was born on March 16, 2015, a host of debilitating symptoms have confounded doctors. This brave little girl has fought from in the womb to survive brain damage, to heart failure, various infections, liver damage from the intense medications, and now ongoing pneumonia.
Baby Xinxin was diagnosised with Russell-Silver Syndrome, a rare genetic disease leading to slowed development, weakended immune system, and potential learning/mental disabilities. Click here for more info about Russel-Silver Syndrome.
Baby Xinxin and her parents Cindy and Max are locals from Xi'an, China. Hospitals in China require payment upfront or they refuse treatment, so without insurance, like most Chinese, they are are bearing an intense financial burden in addition to the tremendous emotional and physical demands.
CURRENTLY Baby Xinxin needs Air Purifiers to help fight poor air conditions and pneumonia flare ups! These air purifiers cost about $1000 in total for a unit in the living room and one in the bedroom. They'll filter harmful viruses, bacteria and polluted air.
The money raised goes directly to support the medical costs and related expenses for Baby Xinxin's care. Medical care is the bare minimum provided at hospitals in China, leaving the family to provide food, care, and any other needs to the baby while she is admitted.
