BENEFITING: FRIENDS OF GUATEMALAN CHILDREN INC
Though the care at the public hospital where he was operated on is very good, they do not have the space or staff to keep him in the intensive care unit during his recuperation. Casa Guatemala plans on moving him to a private hospital where we can ensure he gets the best care we can provide in an intensive care unit. We have arranged to have him moved but the hospital will cost $2300 per week. We need all the help we can get to raise these funds and make sure we can provide for him throughout his recovery.
Though unconscious for 2 days, Elias is starting to show small signs of recovery. He was able to open his eyes and slightly move his fingers yesterday. We are praying with the right care he can be expected to fully recover.
Please help us with any amount that you can. Apart from the medical bills, we are also helping his family with their expenses while he is not able to work. Thank you so much for your support.
