Save Julian's smile
Organized by: Kevin Fifield
My son, Julian Fifield, was born with a rare disease called ecto dermal dysplasia which affects the dermal layers of his body. He was born with clefted hands, similar to cleft palates, and a serious of mouth issues requiring him to have extensive orthodontic procedures. The normal cost for braces run about 5000 but we found out his could be as high as 20000. Medical insurance refuses to pay even though it is a genetic disorder and a medical condition. Julian is 16 and deserves to have an awesome smile. He is a great kid and as a single dad I can't afford to pay all of the expenses. Please take a look at the NFED.org web page as they are a great organization and have awesome information on this disease. My son has the same disorder that Shaq O'Neal, all though he has apologized and was misinformed about the condition, made fun of on twitter.
