Save My Chula

Fourteen years ago I was introduced to a seven week old long haired chihuahua. Small enough to fit snugly into my palm, and exactly the size of my own heart, she was named Cholula and we became inseparable. Cholula has been there for me through the darkest times of my life. She has helped me get through sickness and tradegy in a way no one else could have. I had to learn to take care of myself so that I would be able to take care of her. It is no secret she is the most important being in my life, and I would do anything for her.
Very recently I had noticed some changes in her health, and brought her to seek medical attention. We monitored her for a few weeks, but her issue persisted, so we took her to a specialist for further testing. Just last week my little girl was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I have been told that the tumor is in a place that is optimal for surgery. Following the surgery and recovery, we will need to start her on chemotherapy. Cholula is very strong, and we have every reason to believe she will pull though. Ordinarily, I keep matters of this importance very close, and far away from social media as it is so personal. I know many of you have come to know Cholula personally over the years, and I am sorry that this is the way I must release this news. I have created this fundraiser to make all of you aware of our situation and to ask for help. Any contribution is welcome, and I will do my best to keep everyone updated on Cholula's condition.
Thank you, and please keep my little girl in your thoughts and prayers
