THE STORY:

Katherine Pfost wrote -

"One belongs to New York City instantly; one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years" -Tom Wolfe

Save the City is a movement we started to provide aid to the people of New York City.

You don’t have to be from New York, to love New York, and you don't have to be from New York, to help New York. Hey, we are from California, but that doesn’t mean we are going to sit back and watch people suffer, everyone has the power to help!

Currently this Fundraiser seeks to provide aid for those affected by Hurricane Sandy in New York City and the Surrounding Areas. Hurrican Sandy affected as many as 60 million people in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. More than 7.3 million homes and businesses are in the dark and thousands have been displaced from their home.

We will be donating the money to New York Cares and their hurricane relief efforts! Please help us restore New York and it's awesome people!

To see how New York Cares has already helped in the aftermath of Sandy, check out their awesomeness here!

We are going to our favorite city, New York (duh!), to celebrate Thanksgiving in a few short weeks, BUT we can't give thanks without trying to help those in need, it's just not our style!

So, friends, family, philanthropists, click that lovely donate button, and help us Save the City... if you don't give back, no one will like you.
