Save the C.O.W.W. 's (crazy old white woman's) home
Organized by: Donna Rme
Widow/single parent/grandmother?disabled woman who is settled into her home but finds herself living on a limited income and not enough to pay the ever increasing fees and dues of the homeowners association is facing foreclosure and possible homelessness.
Your support will also save the lives of 6 beautiful cats who love their home and the surrounding rural setting. They roam the area and keep the squirrel and bird population in check (circle of life). Recently we were sitting outside enjoying our morning coffee and noticed that the birds were particularly noisy. It turns out Simon, a orange tabby with white tummy was skulking about and had probably had one of them for breakfast.
In 2005 she crossed off a bucket list item when she completed her degree. It was also an attempt to change careers and decrease the typing required. She had worked two jobs to build the house and provide for her daughter. This lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. After graduating she worked in her new career field and was just starting to catch up, financially, when the 2008 economic downturn hit and she was laid off.
Unfortunately, the dues got behind and now foreclosure is near. She's tried everything including bankruptcy. This only increased the negative cash flow due to attorney fees.
Please help this woman keep her home and regain her health (stress' effects on the body are amazing).
Any help is greatly appreciated. This is not what she felt retirement was going to be like.
P. S. The crazy is a reference to her sense of humor.
