BENEFITING: POINT ARENA LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS INC
The Point Arena Lighthouse was originally built in 1870 and sits on approximately 23 coastal acres in Point Arena, California. The nonprofit that oversees this historical landmark and also the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast is committed to maintaining in perpetuity, this historic light station for the inspiration, education and the enjoyment of all generations to come. The grounds are also home to the Keepers Cottages, which are utilized as vacation rentals. The income from these rentals provides a great deal of the income for the upkeep of the lighthouse and museum. The cottages are in need of new rooftops before winter sets in this year. Please consider a donation to the “Raise the Roof” campaign. Donations can be made by visiting our website at http://www.pointarenalighthouse.com/default.html or you can mail a check directly to Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc., P.O. Box 11, Point Arena, CA 95468. The Point Arena Lighthouse depends on the generosity of the public.
