July 16, 2016
April is a 11 month old "Pocket" Pit Bull who deserves to know a good life free from pain and human neglect. Please Help save April.
April is a cute and very loving pocket pit (small pit bull), who came to the Frances R Willis SPCA after being taken from a property for neglect. Animal Control found her in horrible condition and needing medical care.
April had rectal prolapse, sever demodectic mange, skin infections and fungal infections. April's personality shown through with all she had going against her. Though she was in a great deal of pain and discomfort she was more then happy to give kisses and wag her tail when she recieved any human contact even if it was during painful medical procedures. She is happy all the time, and gets along with everybody. She is a true love bug who loves people and other animals.
April has had two purse string stitch procedures to correct her prolaspe, but she needs more. She had a set back when she developed a serious upper respiratory infection and had to go the the ER Vet for the night.
April will need at least two surgeries to correct her prolaspe and enable her to eliminate with risk of any future prolaspe . Her medical cost are climbing. April needs your help. This little girl deserves to have a pain free life. She is worth it. Can you help us prove to her that she is worth everything it will take to heal her completely.
All donations will go to the Healing Hearts Medical Fund which covers the cost of medical expenses including April's medical care. The Frances R Willis SPCA is an open admission non profit shelter located in Summerville SC.
