Saving My Staffy Gia
Organized by: Angela Aranda
I am raising money for my 17 year old Staffordshire Terrier Gia. She has not been doing so well these last few months. Her health deteriorated fast. She didn't show any signs of sickness until about April of 2016. Our vet suspected her liver was filling up with liquid but that was not the case after getting a sonogram of her belly showed no signs of liquid. About two weeks later when we had enough we took her in for an x-ray and the results weren't pretty. She has a mass growing on her liver that is taking up room for her breathing and food. She wasn't able to hold any of her food down for 3 days last week so she was put on a strictly liquid diet of chicken and vegetables. The vet also suggested we invest in a Bailey Chair so she can sit up and let her food digest for 20 minutes. We made one and it work for the first few days. Now today she has refused to drink any water or eat any food. She never turns down pup-peroni's. We are stressing on how we are going to pay to put her down so she won't be in any pain or suffer any longer. We know it's time but we are out of funds and time is of the essence. Any donations we receive will be going straight to past due vet bills for the visit and for one x-ray which is $300. Putting her down is also $300 and that's the main thing we're worried about right now she isn't doing very good at all and we know we have to do what's right for her no more pain and no more suffering. Prayers shares and donations are desperately needed.
