BENEFITING: RATTLE THE CAGE PRODUCTIONS INC
Hi Everyone. I'm Tim Gorski from Rattle the Cage Productions, an award winning animal and environmental protection 501c3 non-profit and I'm on a new mission to save African elephants from the illicit trade in ivory and from the single largest wildlife crime in history - the capture and sale of 200 wild-caught baby elephants in Zimbabwe for entertainment venues in China. I am heading back to Africa with 3 goals in mind.
1. Document and expose the travesty happening right now in Zimbabwe. Twenty-four elephants have already been shipped off to China and 8 have died in the process. The 2 million dollars that President Mugabe's cronies are making from these deals is supposed to be going into conservation efforts in Zimbabwe but the money instead is going into silk suits and BMWs.
2. Document the world's largest ivory destruction in history. Kenya is set to destroy 120 tonnes of ivory on April 30th to send a message to the world. In attendance will be several influential people that we desperately need to connect with regarding our epic Bonding With Giants program that will be broadcast to 500 million people across China. Kenya Wildlife Service is hosting the event. Basketball legend Yao Ming, Richard Branson, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Attenborough, Elton John, Nicole Kidman, Michael Bloomberg, Paul Allen, and Howard Buffet are all attending. It is imperative that I document this event for the world media and establish relationships with these folks for our epic Chinese TV series that is without a doubt the best chance for remaining wild elephants in Africa. I have media access and permits lined up.
3. While in Kenya I will reconnect and film with our African conservation partners and wildlife rangers to create the sizzle reel we need before we can raise the corporate sponsors for the big program - The 12-part TV series takes 4 lucky Chinese millennials on a wild ride deep into the heart of Kenya to meet and work with the orphaned elephants and the people trying to protect what's left. The program is designed to open eyes, hearts, and minds through quality entertainment. Thirty-five thousand African elephant are dying needlessly every year to supply the demand for ivory, primarily in China. But we are going to change that... with your help. The solution lies in China. I've been developing this program with China's largest broadcasters and distributors for 2 years. Now we are are ready for YOU to get involved.
