BENEFITING: THE COLONY CAREGIVERS

Some people think strays don't matter. People walk and drive away from one that is sick/injured or struck by a car. The heart of those cats may still belong to someone. Even if they don't, they are still living and breathing and deserve medical attention when necessary.
Angel was struck by a car and left on the side of the road. Lucky for Angel, she was found by a compassionate individual who took her to the hospital. Currently Angel has a broken sternum and several lung punctures, both of which will heal with time and care. She is only 3 pounds due to malnourishment and is thought to be only 4 years old. But as weak as she is, she is still fighting to stay alive! She knows someone finally cares! She is spending a few nights at the hospital to get proper nutrition and medical treatment. A few days will not heal the sternum but will help her to get some strength back to help her into real recovery and give her the support of someone finally caring what happens to her.
Her foster home is looking for enough funds to cover her stay at the hospital, which is estimated at $600-$700 for 3-4 days. After that she can finish her recovery in that loving foster care until she finds her forever home.
Donations from this campaign will be sent to The Colony Caregivers. They are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in Ontario County, NY. The group's mission is to practice, TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccine, return), but does not have the capacity for medical expenses. The group will administer these donations to Phelps Veterinary Hospital in Phelps, NY where Angel is a patient. Please specify on any other sent donation that it is for "Angel". If any funds remain, they will be kept aside for another injured kitty fighting to stay alive.
If you are unable to contribute cash, please at least spread the word for Angel. Everyone knows someone who has a heart as big as this sweet little girl!
