EVENT DATE: Nov 18, 2017
An event for everyone, the Saving the Elephants 10k Run/Walk is a chance for you to run, jog or walk your way around beautiful Central Park, with the opportunity to help raise valuable funds for our planet’s gentle giants.
With up to 30,000 elephants being killed a year for their ivory alone, the species is vulnerable to extinction. All funds raised will benefit Save the Elephants, the leading elephant research and conservation organization and their relentless work to ensure a brighter future for elephants.
When filling out your Crowdrise profile please choose the Wildlife Conservation Network as the charity you wish to donate to. All funds are collected by Wildlife Conservation Network on behalf of Save The Elephants (100% of funds raised will go to Save the Elephants).
You can be sponsored by your nearest and dearest and by other ambassadors for elephants, and be in for the chance to win a one-in-a-lifetime safari in Kenya. And knowing that the money you’ve raised will help make sure generations to come live in a world with elephants will make your dedication to the 10k run even more worthwhile!
