The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain has become one of the most successful philanthropic fall events in the tri-state area. In the past five years, total funds raised from the run/walk event have exceeded $290,000 for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Once again, the Sax Charitable Foundation is absorbing all expenses so that 100 percent of sponsorship dollars will directly benefit the hospital’s Child Life Department, which depends solely on private funding to support their many quality-of-life programs for pediatric patients and their families. Past funding from the 4 Miler has been used to support important resources such as birthday parties and gifts, character visits, age-appropriate entertainment, supplies for summer camps and more. On behalf of these children and their families, we thank you!
