BENEFITING: BORGEN PROJECT
I am interning with the Borgen Project this summer. "We fight global poverty. The Borgen Project is an innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy." http://borgenproject.org/about-us/
As an intern, a part of my responsibility is to raise $500 for my personal fundraising campaign. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law and will go toward campaigns, which mobilize people to take action and build support for poverty-reduction programs among political leaders. The typical costs associated with building public and political support for poverty-reduction efforts include technology, travel, web hosting and general operating expenses. If you truly believe this cause and would like to help me with my personal fundraising campaign, please donate and leave your mailing address with me. I will send you a self-made postcard of places which I have travelled to. Even small donations have a major impact in fueling the cause and building a political powerhouse for the world’s poor.
