As you can imagine, we the members of South Brooklyn Running Club do a lot of, er, running. We realize that running is a privilege as well as a pleasure, and we'd like to give back. This Fall, rather than try to raise money individually for separate charities in our various races, we thought it might be cool for some of us to pool our talents and fundraising efforts toward one organization, and we've chosen Back On My Feet NYC (http://nyc.backonmyfeet.org/), which provides homeless individuals with essential resources (including job training, life skills, and other assistance), accompanied by the discipline, pleasure, and camaraderie of running. We hope you'll support an organization that is so committed to helping people achieve their goals, expand their horizons, and get back on their feet, by doing the thing that SBRC-ers like to do most: run!
