Steve Brown grew up in Monroe, Connecticut. Steve began his boxing training five months ago, as he always loved to watch boxing and he was looking for a new and challenging type of workout. Although he wishes he had started training at an earlier age, his motto: “better late than never”, serves him well as he lives his life without regret taking positive steps forward with each endeavor and new challenge he faces. Boxing is positive and invigorating for Steve as he finds himself completely hooked on boxing. Steve’s heroes include his parents and grandparents and he is inspired by their love and determination. Steve’s two beautiful children, Kevin and Erin, make him proud every day and are by far his greatest achievement. Steve is energetic, friendly and hard working. He has been blessed with so much in his life and he is dedicated as he is driven to give back to help those less fortunate as they face adversity. Giving back to others and charity are key components of Steve’s very essence as he is a pivotal contributor for the Special Olympics, raising money, awareness, as he volunteers each year. This year during the Winter Games in Connecticut Steve will serve as a coach for Special Olympics. Steve’s amazing spirit and volunteerism is extraordinary as he continuously serves others as he supports great causes, helping people in every aspect of his life. His hard work both inside and outside the ring are evident as Steve makes a positive difference each day of his life. Steve currently resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
