On June 18, 2014, my wife was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, a syndrome in pregnancy where the only cure is the birth of the baby. 4 hours after surgery, My wife Rachael had a dangerous surgery to remove our baby from her womb after only 29 weeks. Our little Angel is named Scarlet Hope. She came out at a pound and a half and 12 inches long. Scarlet Hope has a long journey ahead, including many weeks in the ICU In Boston. Many caring people in our life asked for ways to help, so this page is simply a way for those that want to help Scarlet to have a way to participate. Her many challenges will have many costs, and we appreciate your involvement in our journey as a new family.
