THE STORY:

‘Scars of Hope: The Story of Patrick Betters’ movie premiere, a Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Foundations. In support of The Friends of Scott Foundation, the Jessie Reese Foundation, and the Sunshine Kids Foundation!

This short documentary release marks a very special day to me. This is one of my dreams, to get my story out there, to leave something behind for the world to see after I am gone. As an advocate for childhood cancer, I want to help everyone understand what cancer treatment is like, not for just children but for everyone, but also to make the world aware of the suffering these children endure inside those hospitals. I want people to understand how this battle does not only occur during treatment, but continues on as we transition back into normal life. These scars are an everyday reminder of what I have endured and overcome, but also of the friends I have lost along the way. To me, they represent hope; hope in a future for these children, and for the future extinction of childhood cancer and cancer altogether.I am in awe of the support I have received thus far, and I hope that you all love the video and will share it with the world as that is the only way we can make the world aware of this battle. I want to thank everyone for your support and I hope you enjoy my documentary as much as I enjoyed doing it for all of you. I also would like to thank Brad and Ed, the producers, for dedicating so much time and effort towards this cause. Without them, this video wouldn’t have been possible and would never have become as amazing as it is. It is because of them that you guys are going to see such a great documentary. Thank you all and I can’t wait to share one of my dreams with you all!
Love,
Patrick
