Paul DeBruler's Fundraiser:

Scavenging For The Iversons

As you may know, Drew Iverson was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer that will require months of chemotherapy and a major adjustment to the life of not just Drew, but of his entire family.

We thought it'd be a great idea to raise some money to help the family out, and rather than just asking for cash, or having a party, we thought we'd make it fun so we're having a scavenger hunt. And a party.

Join us on (date) at (location) for the greatest scavenger hunt you'll do all year! We'll all congregate at the park, at which time the rules and clues will be shared; the donation to participate in the hunt is $5 for kids, $10 for adults, or $40 for a family or team ("family" or "team" can be as many as you want, over four).

After the hunt is over, we'll have a barbecue in the park and hang out in what will hopefully be nice summer weather. (don't worry, though, we've got a covered picnic area! And a permit to have beer/wine in the park!). And the best part of the hunt is...there are prizes! We've been fortunate to get a lot of local businesses to step up with some gifts, so it's not like we'll be sending you around the city for nothin'.

If you don't feel like participating in the scavenger hunt, we will still welcome you at the park for the post-hunt barbecue; we will also ask you to kick in $5 or $10 to the cause, though.

All of the money raised from this goes to the Iversons - we're not taking a cent of what we raise to put on this event. So even if you don't want to scavenge, rest assured that your money is going to a good cause and give as much as you can.

Please join us to help out Drew and his family, and because scavenger hunts and picnics are fun.
