From the coast, and traveling inward about an hour, there is a dry, desolate place called
Ganze. This is where Jesica comes from. She is one of 8 children, and her family was
often mocked and mistreated for their poverty. She says, “I have never experienced a good mood until Daraja.” This statement is surprising as Jesica finds humor in everything. She may be about 4 feet tall, but this girl has big, big dreams. Once she finds her voice and with the right opportunities and training, she could be a powerhouse in her country.
EDUCATED GIRLS WILL CHANGE THE WORLD!
