BENEFITING: Pulmonary Hypertension Association Inc
EVENT DATE: Mar 06, 2016
The Sophomore I class is ready to show our ability as a team to raise money for the improvement of pulmonary hypertension research! Why does pulmonary hypertension matter? Pulmonary hypertension is a rare disease that affects the blood pressure of the pulmonary arteries. Individuals with this disease, commonly white women, face extreme difficulties in living everyday life. We need to help, as future nurses, by aiding in research fundraising endeavors so that more research and treatments can be developed. We need to show that our class can make a difference in this community, that raising money for the betterment of our community's medical research is important to our growth as future nurses.
