Hlep kdis raed--Help kids read.
"One of the greatest indicators of a child’s future success is the reading level of the parent. We're so passionate about this mission, that we have decided to run 5k, 10k, even 25k to show our support! You may not be able to run with us, but your donation will go a long way in the life journeys and school performance of hundreds of children and the parents who stand behind them.
Knowing we have your support will certainly give us the boost on those last miles of our training, or the motivation to wake up early on those frosty winter mornings and put in the miles to cross that finish line in May!
We like to do things in teams, and likewise, the Schools of Hope Family Literacy Program is only possible as a collaboration between the Literacy Center of West Michigan, Heart of West Michigan United Way, and Grand Rapids Public Schools.
