BENEFITING: HIS LITTLE FEET
EVENT DATE: Jan 21, 2014
Growing up in poverty is a story of many Ethiopian children.
We all want quality education for our children and we want to see them thrive. Currently, many Ethiopian children are living under high level of poverty and are dropping out of school because of their parents inability to support them and provide what they need like school supplies and children are forced to look for jobs to earn money for their daily needs as well as their family. As we know, most of our kids in America are living comfortably and going in well-advanced schools and learning to change their country – dreaming about their future. But sadly, many kids in Ethiopia are losing their chance to complete their primary and secondary education, which eventually makes them dependent on society. We who are more fortunate have responsibility to change the world and make it a better place for children who are living in poverty. We can change lives by helping and providing school supplies t children who are in need.
What can we do to help?
I am working on a fundraising project to support children who are living under high level of poverty in Ethiopia. My project is planning to provide a one-time school supplies that a student needs for a year. I am working hard to sponsor/support 800 kids and raise USD 4,000.00. After sharing my vision, I have already achieved 50 percent of my plan, which is USD 2,000. This can only be achieved fully due to gracious and kind people like you. I haven’t stopped yet and will not stop until I reach my objective to raise the full USD 4,000 and I need your help. Please join me on this wonderful cause - to eradicate poverty by helping a child to attend and complete school and become a productive citizen for our country. You can contribute any amount of money starting USD 5.00. Any amount is welcome! You will save the future of a child and who knows, that child become a well know leader, president, a prime minister, or a minister of our country. Thank you!
Please share the idea and the link with your networks – to anyone who is willing to support the cause.
