School and Health Supplies for Haiti
Organized by: the 6:8 project
March 21, 2016
In March, I am planning to return to Haiti to visit the Good Neighbor Orphanage and a rural village of Marre Roseau. I will be spending most of my time working with teachers and students. As you might imagine, there is an ever present need for materials, supplies, and funds to support the education of the kids in these two communities. With the recent outbreak of the Zika virus (a mosquito borne illness) there is also a need for hygiene products, insect repellant, and mosquito nets.
ALL funds from this Crowdrise effort will be used to attend to educational costs, purchase pencils, sharpeners, notebooks, textbooks, first aid supplies, insect repellent, mosquito nets, and soap/hygiene products. I will be covering my own travel costs.
The need is great. All donations are greatly appreciated.
