At 25:40, we are focusing on the next generation -- instilling in them morals and values that their parents or grandpartents may not have been exposed to. Most of the preschoolers' parents never went to preschool themselves, but their caregivers see the benefits of sending their children to 25:40's preschool on Canzibe Mission.
Here they are taught the love of God, how to put others first, and that they are loved and valued by their teachers and by God. This gives them hope that they might not otherwise know of, living in a community of poverty, violence and disease.
The preschool has 33 children. They have not had new furniture in years, and their furniture is also used by some of the younger after school care students.
The new school year starts in mid-January. Help them feel special and get off to a good start by equipping the Grade R (equivalent to Kindergarten) classroom with new tables and chairs.
