What's red and taped to a pole for Red Nose Day? It's ME. If my friends, family, and colleagues can come together to raise $1,000 for Red Nose Day through this page, I will let my colleagues tape me to a pole. Yes, you read that correctly. I am going to wear a Red Nose and let my team tape me up on a pole. It's all to help children and young people living in poverty, so how could I not show my commitment in a big way?
Red Nose Day is coming to the US for the first time ever on May 21. Earlier this year, I had the honor of watching Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom surpass the $1 billion mark, after 27 years of fundraising. Now, in the US, we have the chance to make our own mark, by coming together across the country to raise money for children and young people living in poverty. I believe in this mission. I believe we can change lives by simply having fun together and making each other laugh. I'm doing something funny for money!
In fact, I bet a picture of me taped to a pole in my red nose will make you laugh. I’m planning to stay taped up for five minutes, but for every $500 we are able raise over the initial $1,000, I’ll add five more minutes to my time. How long do you think you can keep me up there?
Take my challenge. Then if you care to get more involved, set up your own page and make ME laugh, for a phenomenal cause.
