COLON CANCER CHALLENGE FOUNDATION
COLON CANCER … SAYS:
We just want to provide you …
We just want to provide you with an update on how your generous support of one of our Team Colon Cancer Challenge members is making an impact.

Your friends and family have inspired our largest team to date to tackle the Rock N Roll New Orleans 1/2 and the United Airlines New York City 1/2. They have raised an additional $60,000! That's over 250% of our original goal.

Your contributions have directly impacted our ability to keep our research fellow (Dr. Kate McNamara) focused on finding the cause of Early Age Onset of colorectal cancer. We have posted a project update on Kate's work (http://coloncancerchallenge.org) and have an opportunity for you to hear from her directly on March 21 at the nation's first Summit focused on Early Age Onset of CRC right here in NYC.

To learn more visit http://events.coloncancerchallenge.org.

We hope you will consider joining us for our signature event - The Colon Cancer Challenge - thousands will gather at Citi Field in Flushing, NY to honor those we have lost to the disease and celebrate those who have achieved a victory.

Registration is still open. http://events.coloncancerchallenge.org

Our sincere thanks for you generous support of our Mission - A World Without Colorectal Cancer.

COLON CANCER … SAYS:
They did it! And, you suppor…
They did it! And, you supported them every step of the way.

Each member of Team Colon Cancer Challenge used every ounce of their energy, heart and soul to cross the TCS NYC Marathon finish line on Sunday. Your support carried them 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of NYC and helped us raise nearly $45,000.

We would like to sincerely thank each of you for your generous donations on behalf of your friends, family and coworkers. Every donation helps ensure that we can continue our life-saving public awareness campaigns and research focused on early-age onset of colorectal cancer.

We know there are a lot of other ways you could have spent this money, but you chose to invest it in us. Because of this investment, we want you to feel like part of our team - Team Colon Cancer Challenge. We're in this together. We want our success to be your success.

Colorectal cancer doesn't stop after Marathon Sunday and neither do we. Despite our progress in reducing the rates of colorectal cancer in adults over 50 - The rates of young adults diagnosed with colon and rectal cancer are increasing dramatically and we do not yet understand why. CCCF is determined to uncover the reason behind this emerging public health crisis.

If you are interested in learning more about our fight against colorectal cancer, what we are doing and how your dollars are making difference you can sign up to receive regular updates from us by visiting our website and signing up for our newsletters. http://coloncancerchallenge.org
Thank you again for all you have done to help our cause and let us know if you're interested in running with Team Colon Cancer Challenge in the 2015 NYC Marathon or the NYC Half!

With gratitude,
Thomas K. Weber, MD, FACS

Stuff About Me:

This charity is particularly meaningful to me as my dad is a colon cancer survivor. He is 94 now but 20 years ago he had major surgery to remove the cancer that almost cost him his life. It made me acutely aware of the need for regular checkups after age 50 that greatly reduce the risk of developing a life threatening case of this deadly disease. This charity is dedicated to the mission of heightening awareness and finding a cure for colorectal cancer.
