Scott McCloe Memorial Fund
Organized by: Sam and Mandi Rosado
On December 9, 2015, due to unexpected complications with illness, Scott Mcloe suffered a heart attack that lead to irreversible brain damage. For the past seven weeks Scott's sons have been by his side hoping their father's condition would improve. Unfortunately, there have been no medical interventions or changes in Scott's condition to imply that any improvement or recovery is possible. On January 25, 2016 the hard decision was made by both Scottie and Jake to allow their father be at peace. Scott is now resting in the Hospice Center at Christiana Care. On the same day their dad was moved into hospice, Scottie and Jake were alerted that the enormous financial responsibility of a funeral service has been left to them and their mom, Jody Kennedy. Scottie and Jake along with the support of their mom have worked tirelessly with medical professionals to understand all aspects of Scott's dim outlook. All decisions, most of which would be unbearably difficult for adults to make, have been put in the hands of these young boys. No child at this young age should have to bury a parent, so we would like to take some of the burden off of Scottie and Jake by assisting them in giving their dad a proper funeral service and burial. Those friends and family of Scott, Scottie, Jake, and Jody that read this know the close and loving relationship Scott shared with his sons. Our hope upon creating this fundraiser is to help the boys bury their dad, and hopefully alleviate this one burden during the grieving process. Thank you.
