Once in a domestic violence relationship, I knew I had to get away from the man who said he loved me. I was fortunate to have my parents help me. For those who think they have no place to go, Becky's House is there for domestic violence victims. Please help and donate to this cause very near to my heart. . Thank you in advance for any help.

As a program of the YWCA of San Diego County, Becky's House offers a safe haven for victims of domestic violence to overcome trauma, improve their economic status, and achieve self-sufficiency. The program encompasses a 24-hour domestic violence hotline, an emergency shelter and four transitional housing communities along with supportive services. The YWCA’s Becky’s House domestic violence program has the largest number of emergency shelter and transitional housing beds in the county for women and children escaping domestic violence. YWCA operates the only domestic violence shelter in San Diego County that accepts clients at all hours of the day and night, 365 days a year. Professional staff incorporate knowledge of trauma in all aspects of service delivery to enhance healing and facilitate recovery. All children in our shelter and transitional housing programs receive specialized services to overcome the trauma they have experienced. Family members are never separated by gender or age.
