Thanks for your support

I’m running across Haiti for the 3rd time. I didn’t think I would do this again but circumstances change and I’m ready to go!
I’m excited to have my youngest daughter Grace join me this time. She is a senior at North Allegheny high school and will be part of the support crew.
I’m running for the same reasons as before, to show that it’s not a place to be feared or to be pitied, but I have some personal reasons as well. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer this year. I had an orchiectomy and my oncologist tells me there is an 85% chance that cured me. I’m doing active surveillance which means I have scans, bloodwork and appointments with my oncologist regularly to make sure the cancer hasn’t spread. I returned to running as soon as I could after my surgery. I want to help spread Team Tassy’s message that good dignified jobs can end poverty and that I’m beating cancer.
