On September 17th, CAL POLY Men's Soccer will be playing in a GrassRoot Soccer charity game to raise funds for GrassRoot Soccer, an international adolescent health organization that educates, inspires, and mobilizes young people to overcome their greatest health challenges and live healthier, more productive lives. Grassroot Soccer's work in Southern Africa and throughout the world connects at-risk young people with the mentors, information, and health services they need to thrive, and empowers adolescents to make educated choices about pressing health challenges such as HIV/AIDS, sexual health, gender-based violence, and malaria. To date, GrassRoot Soccer has reached more than 1.3 million young people in 50 countries. Another really cool thing: Positive Tracks, a national, youth centered non-profit, will be doubling ALL funds that CAL POLY raises! Please join me and Cal Poly Men's Soccer in support of GrassRoot Soccer as a team, program and University we hope to raise in excess of $5,000. Any amount you can give to support our TEAM goal and our cause would be greatly appreciated! Every $25 we raise will be used to empower one young person, annually. Thanks so much for your support and encouragement!
