Sebastian's Luxtaning Patella Surgery (Pomeranian)
Organized by: Cynthia Karl
Sebastian twisted his hind legs as he was playing and running around one fateful early evening in my yard. As the evening progressed on by bedtime, his pain became unbearable. I gave him pet aspirin as relief for the night. Early morning the meds wore off I saw him more distressed, whinning and panting loud. I called the vet as soon as they were opened and got in two hours later. Sebastian was manually examine by the vet. To further see his diagnosis he asked to do an X-ray to confirm his findings. Several hours later, the Vet confirmed to me that he suffered luxating patella on both knees. He needed surgery ASAP. I don't have all the funds for the procedure since it was tied up for four me to get new tires for my old car. (I used half of the money I saved to pay for Sebadtians' initial examination, x-ray, meds, and hospital stay). This is also a financial strain on me because my oldest son is graduating college in May from out of town and plan to attend his baccalaureate. I am so torn for the love of my human and fur family that I want the best for them. I am, with heavy heart, imploring to you all to help me financially in getting the surgery for my Sebastian who the family's comfort and joy to get him his surgery. Any amount would help and very much appreciated. May the Lord touch heart to give cheerfully. God bless you!
