Secondhand Snoots is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill rescue and foster care organization. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals from high-kill animal control facilities. Our time and resources are dedicated, but not limited to rescuing, rehoming and educating the community animals with special needs, injuries and/or illnesses.
The primary focus of this Rescue will be to rescue animals from animal control facilities, provide temporary foster care for rescued animals, find suitable homes for animals without owners, increase compassion, respect for and to find new homes for special needs animals, and to return lost animals to their owners. We will offer educational opportunities to the community about animal abuse, advocacy, special needs animals, and the critical importance of adoption and rescue. As well as helping to stop the over population of animals through educational programs about spaying and neutering, therefore providing solutions to end the killing of adoptable animals in animal control facilities.
