Seeds in the Middle, named by 4th graders in central Brooklyn, inspires and empowers students, schools and their communities to create healthier environments. We teach how to grow edible gardens, conduct student-run Hip2B Healthy Markets where fresh snacks are only 50 cents and Chef Nights where kids cook nutritious, delicious meals with chefs and soccer and fun fitness. We also create arts and enrichment opportunities for youth, schools and communities - plus farmers markets and sports tournaments. We say children are the change-makers and it's Hip2B Healthy. We transform gray into green, destitution into inspiration. Tax ID 27-1847142

Do you believe all children have the right to fresh food and healthy options and joy? Join us!

We're partnering with students, teachers and families in from Crown Heights to Flatbush to  Brownsville and east New York to empower them to create healthy opportunities - and even get jobs out of it. Please support our volunteers and kids in our next venture - bringing back the Crown Heights Farmers Market and expanding affordable access to nearby fresh food and fitness.

We're putting on the first school-run Farmers Market and Flea Market in Crown Heights on May 21. Students from St. Ann's School are working with youth in Crown Heights to create art installations to share the Hip2B Healthy message. We'll also be featuring cooking and zumba and other fun at the May 21 event.

Please support our efforts to put up the market and arts opportunities for children. Funds will also go to support our popular youth soccer program, so all children can play irregardless of ability to pay. See
