BENEFITING: BLOSSOM PROJECT
Sofia Romero Campbell
Since Freshman year I have been a participant in the Blossom Project, a non-profit organization focused on educating high school girls about issues that are effecting women in the community at a state, national, and international level. After three years in the program, I have grown and learned so much about myself and issues ranging from reproductive rights, pay equality, poverty, media representation, and the legislation to change it. This summer my Blossom cohort is planning a trip to South Africa to experience and explore the political and social climate of issues affecting women on an international scale. I am eager to travel to South Africa not only to learn about new perspectives, but also to expand my own point of view and see how I can continue to shape the world as an empowered young female. Please donate and support me see the world and learn to be a better advocate and leader for myself and my community!
